About Seventh-day Adventists

Seventh-day Adventists are all about rest, hope, and action.

What Sets us Apart?

We are a Bible-believing Christian community shaped by a distinct rhythm of rest and renewal. Anchored in hope, we seek to make meaningful and lasting contributions to the communities we call home.

Why ‘Seventh-day’ Matters

The Bible gives us two reasons to rest and worship on the seventh day

Creation

The Sabbath is a memorial of creation. God both created us and sustains us, making him deserving of our worship.

Redemption

The Sabbath is also a memorial of redemption. At the cross, He set us free from everything that holds us captive – allowing us to rest in Him.

Modern research agrees:
Sabbath rest renews us. Studies have demonstrated that Sabbath-keepers tend to live longer,
aligning with the natural seven-day rhythm woven into our biology.

“Large population studies of Seventh-day Adventists show that men live about 11 years longer and women about 9 years longer than the general U.S. population, a difference researchers link in part to their weekly 24‑hour Sabbath rest.”

What ‘Adventist’ Means

Advent means coming. The first coming of Jesus brought redemption, His second coming promises restoration. Adventists live with that hope and it transforms us. Studies show that a sense of purpose boosts well-being. Because it improves our lives, we love to share that hope with others.

It’s All About Grace

Grace is a free gift. We accept it, and it changes us. It’s like being offered a lifeline by someone you once considered an enemy. We respond with gratitude, living in freedom.

Grace changes everything!

Living It Out

Grace implies he both knows and loves us completely, this allows us to love others as he loves us. Our faith flows into action in the form of hospitals, disaster relief and community service. Every act of kindness reflects the grace we’ve received. Whether in local communities or global missions, we aim to make hope real
